Custom Kings, hot sauce and fun times in Melbourne town

I wrote a new blog on myspace about what I’ve been up to the last few months. Click here to read it.

About to head off to NSW and WA on the second leg of a national tour with killer Melbourne band Custom Kings. See you in your town over the next few weeks. Thanks all who came to the QLD shows last week.

Leena x

PS I made this killer hot sauce the other night to have with dinner…

Sambal

All you need is those tiny hot chilis, onion, garlic, ginger, vinegar, vine ripened tomatoes, sugar, a whole lot of love and a strong stomach.

Mmm, I love hot sauce! I have a stack of tiny chilies growing as well as cherry tomatoes and I would love your recipe. Could you please post quantities for the ingredients? Looking forward to seeing you play at the Birchip Races in March!

    Hi Leena,
My name is Beth, this is a completely random question, but a long time ago I believe you worked at a pub in Western Australia, The Mount Henry Tavern. I worked there also and am pretty sure I remember you playing there mainly on weekends. Reason Im asking is that I bought a promo CD from you back then which I absolutely ADORE, but I lost it. I was wandering if you could tell me the name of that cd so I can try track it down once more to purchase. It had a kind of green background with a picture of you on the cover. Totally random comment haha but I just love the music and would love another copy.

    Kind regards,
    Beth
